Terms of Service for Gantt Exporter by Bison Layer

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Gantt Exporter by Bison Layer application ("the App"), provided by Bison Layer ("we," "us," or "our"). By installing or using the App within the monday.com platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree with all of these Terms, you are expressly prohibited from using the App and must discontinue use immediately. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Bison Layer.

2. License and Use

2.1. Grant of License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App solely for your internal business operations, in connection with your active monday.com account, and in accordance with these Terms.

2.2. App Functionality

The App is a tool designed to generate and export Gantt chart visualizations based on your monday.com board data. All processing for the export occurs on our dedicated server within the monday.com Code environment.

2.3. Data Handling Acknowledgment

You acknowledge and agree that **Bison Layer does not store, log, or persist any of your monday.com board, item, or user data** beyond the temporary processing required to generate and deliver the export file. Your use of the App is conditioned on your agreement with this temporary, in-memory processing on our monday Code server.

3. User Responsibilities and Prohibited Conduct

As a user of the App, you agree not to:

  • Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
  • Attempt to circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security-related features of the App or the monday.com platform.
  • Distribute, modify, sublicense, rent, sell, or lease the App or any part thereof.
  • Use any automated system, such as scripts or bots, to access the App.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

4.1. Our Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the App, including the software code, design, features, and underlying technology, are owned by Bison Layer or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you any right, title, or interest in or to the App, except for the limited license granted in Section 2.1.

4.2. Your Data

All data, information, and content exported by the App are and remain your property. We make no claim of ownership over your monday.com data.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS-IS" AND "AS-AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IN CONNECTION WITH THE APP AND YOUR USE THEREOF, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

6. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT WILL BISON LAYER OR ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFIT, LOST REVENUE, LOSS OF DATA, OR OTHER DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR DISSATISFACTION WITH THE APP IS TO STOP USING THE APP.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
