Privacy Policy for Gantt Exporter by Bison Layer

This Privacy Policy explains how Gantt Exporter by Bison Layer ("the App") handles information within the monday.com environment. The App is developed and provided by Bison Layer.

1. Data Collection and Storage

We Do Not Store Your Data Outside the monday.com Ecosystem.

The Gantt Exporter by Bison Layer app is built using the monday Code infrastructure. When you request an export:

  • The App temporarily accesses the necessary board and item data from your monday.com account.
  • This data is securely transmitted to the monday Code server operated by Bison Layer for the sole purpose of generating the export file (the Gantt chart).
  • This data is processed locally on the Bison Layer server within the monday.com infrastructure and is immediately discarded after the export file is generated and returned to your browser.
  • Bison Layer does not store, log, or persist any of your board, item, or user data on any database or external storage outside of this temporary, in-memory processing on the monday Code server.
2. Information Accessed

The App accesses the following types of information from your monday.com account only as required to generate the Gantt chart export:

  • Board and Item Data: Board structure, item names, date columns (start/end dates), person columns (for assignment), and status columns.
  • User Information: Basic user profile information (like names) for display within the exported chart visualization, if relevant to the data.

This data is used exclusively for the App's function (Gantt chart generation and export).

3. Sharing of Information

Since the App does not collect or store any user or board data beyond temporary processing for the export, no information is shared, sold, rented, or otherwise disclosed to any third parties.

4. monday.com's Role

This App is built to run entirely within the monday.com platform. Your interaction with the monday.com platform itself, and the security of your data on their servers, is governed by monday.com's own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the monday.com App Marketplace.
